This is a quick example of how to get your dog started with the Box Game. All you need are some boxes (or containers the dog cannot see through) and some treats!

Start with just one box, then add a second, then a third, etc. so your dog has to search them to find the treat.

Some dogs are not confident enough to put their head in a box at first, so start with shallow boxes if you can, like what I’m using here with Trixie. Believe it or not, it took her a couple of sessions before she felt confident enough to take a treat out of these shallow boxes!
